Every child is welcomed through the Vale School doors, and from the very first moment we make them feel secure in a community that will always put them first. We want a lifetime of happy school memories to begin on day one.
On the Journey
Communication is at the heart of our work with our students, and building trusting, empathetic, personalised relationships is what allows us to deliver high quality care.
Our team of professionals supports each child on their unique path, providing learning and therapy that is individually tailored towards what the child needs at each and every point. We value every step forward, no matter how small. And we recognise the path isn’t always smooth, and sometimes there are steps back; we celebrate the resilience every child shows as we stretch them to develop their independence and their own ‘voice’.

The Destination
We take our responsibility to educate seriously; our child-centred curriculum opens up exciting new avenues and pathways. As we ensure the school environment is safe, welcoming, and joyful, we never forget our goal is to support the child on their path to an enriched and fulfilling adult life.
