Flamingo Chicks

Flamingo Chicks is a multi-award-winning national charity and inclusive community that gives all children the opportunity to explore dance and movement. We champion young disabled voices and deliver pioneering activities to develop and support the confidence, creative expression and physical competencies of the children we serve.

We run weekly dance classes with students at The Vale, exploring different movements, sensory props and costumes to invite children into a world of colour! Classes are based around a core theme that lasts through the term, linked with the National Curriculum, and are intertwined with a range of dance techniques to get all children moving!

Recently, former Olympic swimmer, Michael Gunning visited the school in conjunction with Flamingo Chicks.
